Is there a minimum or maximum for the value of critical illness cover I can have?

Certain limits can apply for the amount of critical illness cover that is accepted on standard terms. But each company sets it’s own maximum limits.
If you are not employed or you are a housewife/husband (or “homemakers” as some refer) then some companies may impose a ceiling of around 2 to 3 times the employed partner’s salary.
