What information will be needed if I claim?

For a claim to be successful an insurance company will need evidence that you have been diagnosed as having one of the listed critical illnesses. They will require this evidence from a Consultant in a UK hospital whose is a specialist in you particular illness.

You may also be asked to go for a medical examination so that the company’s Chief Medical Officer can be informed of the exact nature of your condition.

You will not be expected to pay for this as the cost of all medicals will be met by the insurance company concerned.
